I was lucky enough to drive about 250km, and arrive to Hook Head in Co.Wexford in an absolutely perfect weather condition for photography. The lights were fantastic as the sun already started to go down, it was beautifully filtered and gave a lovely gold tone to the water, and the wind was strong enough to make big waves.  Check the second photo and compare the man’s size to the so called “small” splash behind the cliffs:-) People who live here said the wind is pretty calm, if its strong than the waves come over the wall of the light keeper’s houses.  wow, that is about 15meter high from what I experienced here yesterday!!!! Hook Light is one of my favorite lighthouses and it’s the oldest operational in the World!!!!!! Pics below, enjoy!

Voltam olyan szerencsés, hogy tegnap 250km vezetés után tökéletes fény és időjárási viszonyok között érkeztünk meg Hook Head-re, Wexford megyében. A fények gyönyörűek voltak, a nap már elkezdett lefelé ereszkedni, ezért csodálatos aranyló fényekben világította meg a vizet. A szél elegendően erős volt, hogy nagy hullámokat verjen. Figyeld meg a második képen álló emberke méretét a szikla mögött felverődő “kis” hullámhoz képest:-) Akik itt élnek azt mondják most még nem erős a szél, ha erős akkor a hullámok átjönnek a világítótorony  szolgáltató házának a kerítésén. Vááááá, az kb 15m onnan ahol tegnap én fotóztam!!!!! Hook LIght a világ legöregebb működő világítótornya!!!!!! Képek alant, fogadjátok szeretettel!
